What do you concider a permanant heat source. I have applied for a refinance loan, and the appraiser said we do not have a permanent heat source in bath & wash room in case we are gone awaw from hom for a long period of time. We have an outside stove. Further more we would never be gone for any length of time without having someone fix the fire. Our son lives next to us and another one lives only about 4 miles away, plus we have a neighbor that would look after things if we need to be gone. I think this is a little bit on the far-fetched side to possibly refuse a loan.
